We are convinced that before 2030 every factory will have a quadruped or humanoid on site. Most companies will buy the robot first and only afterwards ask whether it is doing anything useful.
Our approach
At Umotion we prefer to engineer that up front. Not the robot but the use case is our starting point: what is the situation, which work costs the most time, risk or frustration today? Only then do we choose the platform.
That way a robot takes over the most repetitive, boring, dangerous and unattractive work, leaving people time for higher-value tasks. With industry knowledge and short lines to the factory, we make tasks feasible that could never be robotised, or where the business case simply did not add up. And we are just as clear about where it fits today as about where you are better off waiting.

Autonomous inspection
The Unitree A2 and B2 are built for autonomous inspection rounds in industrial and infrastructure environments. Their rugged quadruped platform, 3D perception and rough-terrain mobility let them run fixed routes along installations, pipework and technical rooms, capturing measurement data from the same position and angle every time. Fitted with thermal cameras, gas detection, acoustic sensors or other customer-specific instrumentation, anomalies are detected early and fed straight into your maintenance or asset management system.

We examine the task, environment and desired configuration before selecting a platform. The range includes compact humanoids for development and research, quadrupeds for inspection and monitoring, and manipulation technology. G1 and Go2 offer EDU versions for secondary development; other models also have different configurations and options.
